Scharf Breaks AG Fundraising Record

ST LOUIS, MO – Former federal prosecutor and conservative activist Will Scharf announced this morning that in the month of December his candidate committee for statewide office raised over $290,000.  Since the introduction of campaign contribution limits in Missouri, the quarterly fundraising record for an attorney general candidate has been $283,842.41, set by now-Senator Eric Schmitt’s campaign in the third quarter of 2020.  Scharf’s campaign beat this total in a month.

“I have never run for political office before.  I am humbled by the support that we have received so far, and I am deeply grateful to those who have stepped up to support our bid for statewide office,” Scharf said.  “This record-breaking fundraising total should send a clear message to the political establishment and special interests in Jefferson City—Missourians are ready for real conservative leaders who will fight crime, fight back against the woke left, and fight to defend our constitutional rights.  And we are just getting started."
